CR SPECIAL 22 contains selected contributions from a session on the Assessment of Weather related Risk on Agricultural Production and Agribusiness, held at the Natural Hazards Programme Group as part of the European Geosciences Union General Assembly in Vienna, Austria, in 2009. The purpose of the meeting was to analyze climate effects on agriculture and food security, and to evaluate management strategies.
