ABSTRACT: The present study shows that a monoclonal antibody (MAb) directed to Aeromonas salmonicida glycerophospholipid:cholesterol acyltransferase (GCAT) is capable of protecting rainbow trout red blood cells from the cytotoxic effects of the enzyme in vitro.
