Aquatic Biology (AB) serves as a worldwide forum for research on all aspects of the biology of organisms living in marine, brackish and fresh waters. It complements the material that appears in Marine Ecology Progress Series (MEPS) and Aquatic Microbial Ecology (AME). Multidisciplinary and international, AB will be developed and tailored to reflect the evolving needs of the scientific community it serves.
Produced by the MEPS/AME team, and with an identical format, AB features the same leading standards as all IR journals:
- high quality of scientific contributions
- rapid publication (about 1 month from final acceptance)
- high technical standard of presentation
AB is published with free Open Access (OA) up to and including Volume 8. Manuscripts that were submitted by Aug. 31, 2009, will also be guaranteed OA if accepted, regardless of which volume they appear in. Thereafter, online access will be limited to subscribers only, except where authors purchase OA. Complimentary copies of printed issues up to Volume 8 can be requested from ir(at)int-res.com.
