MEPS Article Wins the W. F. Thompson Award
An article published in Marine Ecology Progress Series has won the W. F. Thompson Award, given by the American Institute of Fisheries Research Biologists, for the best paper published in 2004.
Seventeen papers were submitted, and they were reviewed by 35 fisheries professionals, many of whom reviewed more than one paper. They assigned scores to the papers on the basis of contribution to fisheries science, originality, and presentation. The winning article was:
