All subscribers wishing to generate their download statistics reports themselves via the portal below will first need to obtain a COUNTER user login and password directly from Inter-Research. Note: Logins and passwords previously issued prior to December 2025 are no longer active.
Subscribers may request that Inter-Research generate the download statistics reports and send them by email. Please indicate which of the following COUNTER 5.1 Reports are required: PR Platform Report, PR_P1 Platform Usage, TR Title Report, TR_J1 Journal Requests (Controlled), TR_J2 Journal Access Denied, TR_J3 Journal Usage by Access Type and/or TR_J4 Journal Requests by YOP (Controlled); the user customizable settings where applicable; the time period; and the file type (XLSX, JSON, TSV).

In May 2025 we were forced to switch the new website live before it was ready. The old website operated under the COUNTER 4 Protocol and we were implementing COUNTER 5.1 for the new.
Due to the sudden decommissioning of the old website, we were unable to make the smooth transition in download statistics reporting specified in the COUNTER 5.1. protocol, that is, to continue to provide the pre-June 2025 data in the COUNTER 4 report format.
Data to end May 2025 is the COUNTER 4 data transferred from the old website. Data from June 2025 is the COUNTER 5.1 data gathered on the new website. All the data is presented in COUNTER 5.1 Excel, JSON and TSV formats. Presenting the data via the harvester API is for later development.
Reporting is not yet COUNTER audited but has been verified via the COUNTER validation tool.
